This is more of a request then bug. I name my movies “Shutter Island (2009).m4v”. iDentify removes the brackets but leaves a trailing space, ie “Shutter Island “, which never matches. Once I click “edit tags” and remove the space it matches perfectly. Any chance you could trim away any white characters after removing the years?

    Keep up the good work!

      That should be easy enough

    May I make a request?

For some reason the program continues to crash for me when I look up TV series that have chapters. I don’t really need to have the chapters labelled so could there be an option in the preferences not to look up chapters..

First off, you already can disable chapters by turning off lookups from tagchimp in the preferences.

Second, id much rather work with you to fix the crash. If you can send me the crash report as well as the name of the files causing the crash. It would be a good start. Just email it to arrmihardies @t gmail.com
